New Fire Station Building Inaugurated at Kadur

The Director General of Police and Director Fire and Emergency Services, Karnataka State Ms.Jija Hari Singh IPS inaugurated the newly constructed Fire Station building at Kadur on 22/02/2008 in a simple function. The function was attended by Ex MLA Mr.Krishna Murthy, The Kadur Town Municipal President and Vice President, Officers of the Karnataka Police Housing Corporation, the general public and media personnel of Kadur Town.

This new Fire Station building situated in the land purchased from the APMC has been constructed by the Karnataka Police Housing Corporation (KSPHC) at a cost of Rs.10,161,225/ (For details Click Here).

Prior to this, the Fire Station was functioning in a temporary building situated on Bangalore - Honnavar Road since 1996, the year of opening of the Fire Station in Kadur.
